We are proud supporters of our outstanding MPP, Education Minister Kathleen Wynne.
Kathleen was first elected MPP for Don Valley West when she defeated a Tory cabinet minister in the 2003 provincial election. In the spring of 2006 Premier McGuinty elevated her to the cabinet as Minister of Education. Kathleen has won the respect and support of parents, students, teachers and boards across the province for her efforts to rebuild public education after the disaster of the Harris years.
Voters demonstrated their respect for and appreciation of Kathleen's efforts when they re-elected her in 2007. She defeated the Leader of the Opposition, John Tory, by almost 5,000 votes.
